Affiliate Networks in the Nordics Compared (2026)

A side-by-side comparison of five affiliate networks available to Nordic publishers, limited to facts from the networks' own documentation: where they operate, how you join, when they pay and what product data they give you.

By the AffiFeed teamPublished 5 min read

"Which network is best" has no single answer: the shop you want to promote is on one network and not another, and that settles it. What you can compare is how each network works for a publisher: where it operates, how you get in, when you get paid and what data you get to build pages with. This comparison is limited to what the networks state in their own documentation as of September 2026. Where we could not verify something, the table says so rather than guessing.

Networks change their terms. Treat the table as a starting point and check the linked sources before you decide.

Partner-Ads

The Danish network, and for many Danish shops the only one they use. Partner-Ads states it has more than 1,500 partner programmes across 20 categories, operating in Denmark, Sweden and Norway with a separate balance for each. Its low payout threshold (100 kr excl. VAT) and monthly payout make it friendly to small sites. Product feeds are a big part of how publishers use it: Partner-Ads says roughly 40% of clicks in the network come through product feeds. Its terms ask you to update displayed prices at least weekly and to load product images from the advertiser's URL.

Good fit if your readers are Danish and you want local shops. Full details in the Partner-Ads guide.

Adtraction

The Swedish network with the broadest European footprint of the Nordic-born ones: offices in 12 countries and, according to its partner page, over 7,000 partners and more than 2,000 brands. In Denmark it grew by acquiring Digital Advisor (2021) and Adservice (2023). It has the richest link tooling of the group (deeplinks, cleanlinks, EPI parameters, a browser extension and app) and XML product feeds that are typically updated daily. Payment happens after the brand has paid Adtraction, so commissions can sit in Waiting for brand for a while.

Good fit if you cover several Nordic countries or want strong link tracking. Full details in the Adtraction guide.

Awin

A global network with a dedicated Nordics site. Signing up involves a small refundable deposit, which Awin says is used to verify identity and deter duplicate accounts; its UK help pages describe £5, repaid once you reach your first payment threshold. Default payment thresholds are 500 SEK or NOK and 50 EUR, and Awin pays in ten currencies including SEK, DKK and NOK with domestic payment options in each. Its Create-a-Feed tool lets you pick advertisers, categories, brands and columns, then download a CSV or copy a URL, and a feed list download shows when each feed last changed.

Good fit if you want international brands alongside Nordic ones, or if the shop you want only runs its programme there.

Tradedoubler

One of the oldest networks in Europe, founded in Stockholm in 1999 and listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. It has offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Its publisher agreement sets the payment threshold at £30, €50 or 500 SEK (or the equivalent in another currency). For developers, its Products API gives searchable access to advertisers' product data, plus an "unlimited" service that returns a whole feed as XML or JSON for your own database, limited to three downloads of the same unchanged file per 24 hours.

Good fit for larger publishers who want API access, and for programmes from brands that run on Tradedoubler in the Nordics.

Addrevenue

A younger Swedish platform, founded in 2022, describing itself as based in Sweden with the world as its marketplace. It has an API for discount codes, new advertisers, transactions and payouts, and supports Swedish payment methods (bankgiro, plusgiro) and IBAN/BIC transfers for companies outside Sweden. We could not verify its payout threshold or feed format from its own documentation, so check those directly.

How to choose

  1. Start from the shops, not the networks. List the ten shops your readers are most likely to buy from and search each network's programme directory for them. The network that has most of them wins by default.
  2. Check the market. A brand can run on one network in Sweden and another in Denmark. Apply in the market your readers are in.
  3. Look at payout mechanics. Low thresholds and predictable dates matter more for a small site than a slightly higher commission rate.
  4. Look at the product data. If you build comparison tables, feed quality (current prices, EAN, stock) is what you will work with every day. Download a real feed before committing.
  5. Read the terms. Paid search rules, disclosure requirements and prohibited traffic sources differ by network and by programme.
  6. Join more than one. Two networks let you show the same product from several shops, and one network's policy or tracking change does not take out all your income.

Working with several networks at once

The practical downside of joining several networks is that product data comes in different formats: Partner-Ads' Danish XML fields, Adtraction's XML, Awin's CSV. Our product feeds guide maps the fields between them. AffiFeed currently imports Partner-Ads and Adtraction feeds into one place, so you can filter and embed products from both networks in a single widget. Frequently asked questions

Which affiliate network is most used in Denmark?

There is no public, independent market-share data. Partner-Ads is the Danish-founded network, and Adtraction strengthened its Danish presence by acquiring Digital Advisor and Adservice. Which one matters for you depends on where the shops you want to promote run their programmes.

Which Nordic network has the lowest payout threshold?

Among the networks compared here, Partner-Ads (100 DKK/SEK/NOK excluding VAT) and Adtraction (100 SEK/NOK/DKK or 10 EUR) have the lowest documented thresholds.

Do I need a company to join?

Requirements differ by network and country. Check each network's signup page; Addrevenue, for example, describes payout methods for company affiliates.
